I inherited a well used set of 60s Royal Wessex White Ironstone Swinnerton's, missing a few broken pieces and a few very worn. Then there are the daily Japanese Dachi missing one salad plate and in very good shape. I even have the box for those.

And the service for 12 Meakin Bone China "Forget-me-not"'s probably used less than half a dozen times. Sets of china not popular, not worth what their cost at the time of purchase. The Dachi might be worth a bit parted out.

And what do I use daily? Clear glass French Arcoroc and an occasional Swinnerton.

So yes, if you enjoy something use it. No one else will. The stuff all goes to charity because everyone wants something NEW.

Dinner? Chicken legs and lentils with parsley, broccoli, kale. Managed to avoid the collards tonight. No more watermelon, no donuts, no bananas. I have apples, but they are puny and undergrown.

And yes, your new china is gorgeous with the scalloped edges and matching pattern and the multi color clover. Elegant!
