Don't think my mom ever made it.
We always had green peas, sometimes green peas with pearl onions as the green vegetables. Mom always made brussel sprouts, but she was the only one who ate them.
And I think marshmallows in sweet potatoes is another abomination. I just open a can of sweet potatoes, warm them up, and serve. If I want them sweeter, I might sprinkle some brown sugar on top, but they are already sweet enough as is, so adding sugar is something I haven't done in years.

Nope. When I was growing up, my mother allowed me to skip one, and only one, vegetable.
