(6,568 posts)15. Another good thing to do is use a baking stone.
I use a pizza peel to transfer the dough to the stone (I always preheat the stone for a good 30 mins as well).
Gives you a nice bottom crust.

I'd LOVE the recipe. I buy/freeze loaves when I find them, but it would be more fun

I make my own brown bread, using a teaspoon of baking soda and a teaspoon of wholemeal.
