3. For those on a low sodium diet

1 Tsp of low-sodium chicken Herb Ox replaces a bouillon cube.

I'm also a believer in the "let the name tell you the main ingredient," and will swap out the milk with cream while reducing the cornstarch. That will make it a little more diabetic-friendly. If you use that, you can scale back the butter some.

I'll tinker with it and see how it turns out for me.

Everything else sounds on point, though, and it all looks a ton healthier than the stuff in the can. I always have these ingredients on hand. Even with the nuttiness of the current store wipeout.
