But likely the Le Creuset is just more expensive because of the name. From my understanding Lodge makes pretty good quality stuff, so any difference is likely negligible.

Actually, once cast iron is seasoned, you most certainly can use soap and water on it

I'll check out the Cuisinart. My stainless steel cookware is all Cuisinart and I like it a lot.

Cast Iron for sure. My son just used my money for bday gift. He loves it. Says 3 or 4 time week
