16. My youngest was not able to be home on his birthday.

Aug 2020

He got home last night.

Today we had steak, baked potatoes and salad.

I made a feathery fudge cake with peanut butter frosting.

In a few minutes we are got to have some cake.

The best part of the day...

When my Mom hand wrote recipes in a notebook for us kids, she made an error. So I called my favorite sister to see if Ma made the same mistake in hers. Nope, so I got the right quantity of sugar. It led us to discussing our not so favorite sister taking the actual cookbook when our Mom died and refusing to let us copy recipes out of it.

Well I found that cookbook on ebay and ordered it. Piss on that sister. The only thing is, I put asterisks in the family cookbook next to my favorite recipes.
