and hang it that way. I live in a "pueblo style" house with neither frames nor sills, so I've put screw anchors in the wall to hold the hooks. You suspend the stained glass with either super strength fishing line or chain, I've used both.

My oldest piece of stained glass is about 40, still hanging in the front window after multiple moves.
