4. Count your blessing...

Yesterday a friend and I went for a Sunday drive out in the back country boundary to look at foliage. It was a very pleasant, sunny day. I had to get up at 3am and it was raining. Back to bed about an hour later. Got up at 7am and the ground and my car were covered in snow, It's blowing and snowing at a 45 degree angle, weather at NOAA says we are in red winter warning conditions until some time Wednesday. Guess summer's over now.

Not that I didn't know it was coming, and this happens nearly every year, mid October snow and freeze. But most of the local grass was still green. Now all the foliage is over, the freeze will knock everything out of the trees, green or color changed. Glad I was able to catch a lot the colors this year.

Don't know when, but the weather will change for you soon enough, here it happens over night.
