5. row covers work well to protect against freezing

this picture shows hoops to support the row covers, but you can also drape them over plants. They are light weight, allow in air and light, but protect down to 20 below.

I've got a lot of seeds in containers (Winter Sowing). I *think* they are ok, even tho freeze is expected tonight, but to be safe, I wrapped the containers in row covers.

Yesterday I bought 6 perennials, and put them in the garden in their pots, and covered with row cover.
but now I have to put them under shelter, bec it is going to rain/snow.
and that will cause the row cover to be pressed down on the plants, which may be ok, or may not.
