If you get a Natchez crepe myrtle they can get to about 25-30 tall. I have two of them. The oldest is about 25 tall and has a trunk thats about 12 across at the base which branches out. It flowers most of the summer.

Growing up in So. Maine in the 50/50s, we had beautiful American Elms and Horse Chestnut trees.
