In reply to the discussion: Goodbye Chloe [View all]In_The_Wind
(72,300 posts)39. I am so sorry for your loss. There are no words to remove the pain you felt.
I know you are still feeling the loss.
Miss Chloe wasn't supposed to become part of our flock.
I've known her since she was 3 months old.
I had hoped Jeff would take her with him on the road again. This place feels empty without her bubbly spirit. Our remaining two parrots feel the loss. They were quiet, very subdued, all day into the evening.
When springtime arrives I'll create a resting spot, a blooming garden, to honor Chloe's life. She never bit us. Didn't have a mean bone in her sweet little body.
Jeff said: She was supposed to outlive me. Thank you for loving her.

Jeff passed away on June 20th this year. May they find one another over the Rainbow Bridge.
