1. K&R. My 4 cats do all of the above, and then some.

One cat slaps my pen out of my hand and across the room as I try to grade papers. She thinks I am wiggling it to play with her.

Another one lies always on the outer edge of the bed by my head, and she insists that I have to face her at all times. If I change position, she pats my head and shoulder repeatedly until I turn over and face her.

At least she pats gently. Another cat I had some years ago would tap significantly less gently. That one would also march forcefully around my body--including stomping heavily across my arms, legs, and head--repeatedly completing the circuit until I faced her and petted her--with both hands, not just with one. If I tried to use just one hand, she would reach out with both her paws and pull the other hand toward her head to get it to do its job.

I am a brush slave to my cats, too. One of them gets up on the counter by the bathroom sink and forces her head between my brush and my hair to get me to brush her hair rather than my own.

There is no question that our cats are our masters, and very demanding ones at that.
