6. The fleas we have around here are resistant to most everything.

Frontline and the like used to work, but no longer. It's pretty much down to expensive Seresto collars and vet prescribed oral meds.

We've never sprayed our yard and garden, not for the twenty years we've lived here, and have never had flea trouble from the yard. I'm pretty sure the abundant spiders, ants, and other insect predators eat any flea eggs and larvae long before they become a problem.

Whenever our dogs have picked up fleas and ticks it's mostly from traveling.

We also don't have any carpet in our house.
