This makes me sad in a way. My sweet cat (rescued from the shelter three years ago) is lonesome, I think. We were told that she had lived with five other cats and at eight years old was not spayed, so we assume she had many litters. With so many cats in her life, she's very affectionate and likely was mama to many babies. I fear that she is lonesome. It would be difficult to have another cat; I would have to hide it from the landlord. LOL. And then there's always the possibility that I would bring home one that is a bad choice.

But it is such a human vanity that we separate loving cats from each other with impunity.
