3. The secret is switching it up.

I have a cat who is extremely allergic to fleas and we live in NE FL where there are literally millions of sand fleas, maybe billions, lol. He pulls out his fur in the summer, even now when he's really old and doesn't go outside much. We have to switch out his flea medicine to keep it working best. Right now we are using Activyl, but I noticed that he's getting a bare spot on the back of his neck, so am calling the vet about this today and will probably have to switch again. This is really bumming me out since Activyl is so cheap and it works great on the 2 other cats so now I'll probably have to buy him something separate that will cost lots more - boo. Since Basil is also very nervous, we spray Feliway on the pillow where he lies looking out the window most of the day. It's helped reduce his fur pulling by 1/2 - poor guy.
