For all of you dog lovers, please read the Bernie and Chet books by Spencer Quinn. Bernie is a PI. Chet is a dog, a partner in the enterprise who narrates the books. I just love the dogginess of them.

A book narrated by a cat would probably be totally annoying and no one would want to read it.

And don't get me wrong. I'm a cat person, through and through. Dogs are okay, I'm capable of being friendly to them, but the four legged furry friend in my house will always be a feline.
