4. A few weeks if no cats in our house after Frankie cross over

I trapped a feral cat and took her to the shelter to be spayed and vaccinated for rabies. Pretty Kitty has finally forgiven me, and doesn’t hide when I put out her food. Anyway, while at the shelter we took a tour of the cat house. My wife picked out two, a 3 year old silky dust mop, Manny and a gray and black stripped 2 month old little brat we named Sheela.

Sheela wanted to play with Manny, but his wasn’t having any of it. He’d be laying of the floor and would hiss as Sheela approached. This lasted all of two days, Now they are best friends, chasing each other around the house, sleeping together. And Sheela is a mouthy little thing (not so little now). If she sounds like she’s hurt, Manny appears like magic from wherever he was to comfort his little sister.

It’s fun and interesting having feline friends in the house again.
