Or, even now. Sophie was about 6 months old when she joined the household. She was never nurtured, or really even socialized (her original human was a drug addict/hoarder) so was never particularly playful and even though she took to me, she's not keen on most others. If she reaches a tolerance for Morgan, I'll declare victory.

So this is a whole new experience. And a wonderful one.
