... I was legally OK to carry in New York City, and as my children were growing up, we would spend a lot of time there, mostly just walking around. At first my wife and I would be pushing baby joggers all over Manhattan, later, when the kids got older, we walked all over the place, taking the subway, going to museums, Central Park, all over the place.

Then I made a career change, part of that change involved a loss of a legal right to carry in the city.

We stopped going to the city.

Then we moved away from the area completely.

I'll never go back.
