are statistically more law abiding and often better trained (especially Texas' training requirement) than cops. Also, all of the holders are 21+ by law. Most of them are older students that have better things to do than binge drink with 18-19 year olds. The probability of "until it isn't" happening is nil. But then, the odds of getting shot at school (most school homicides are stabbings and beatings) is 1 in 614 million. For reference, the odds of winning Powerball is 1 in 279 million.

Public policy should be based only on facts and reason, I have yet to see a valid argument against it.
