It was probably 65 years ago.
I think grandpa had goosed her in the butt or something.
He was what we called a 'real cut up'.
Anyway, he surprised her or scared her and she said "SHIT, MARVIN!".
Hoowee.

Granny was a strict Southern Baptist and a tea-totaller.
A died-in-the-wool prohibitionist.
I couldn't believe she even KNEW that word, let alone used it.
