(31,200 posts)would look exactly the same. I don't know why that simple observation makes some people so upset. I've heard several commentators & strategists over the past couple of weeks make this observation. They talk about the hate mail and nasty tweets they get from BS "supporters" for simply pointing out the very homogenous appearance of BS' rallies. They call in to NPR and want the media to discuss the size of BS' crowds, just not what they look like. I would suggest that the time spent trying to shut down the discussion, would be much better spent trying to rectify it.
It was pointed out last night on Rev Al's show that while huge crowds is very exciting, the folks in attendance won't be the deciding factor in the primaries, and certainly not the GE.
Obama put together an amazing coalition that yielded 3 out of 4 Latinos; 3 out of 4 Asian Americans; and the black vote was off the charts. BS is not speaking to me, and if polling is to be believed, he's not speaking to huge majorities of us.
