so long as they are willing to LISTEN when told that his perception collides with our reality.

For example, when he says most influential Blacks were republicans and we tell him that his perception of the republican party is 50+ years old ... what does he do with that? If he drops that line from his pitch, fine. But if he re-uses it, I'm done talking with him because all he wants to do is (appear to) talk TO me not with me.
