as many as possible by himself. Because every time I'd show up, the real estate agent would suddenly get a case of the quizzical brow and vapors.

These people don't know one goddamned thing about us, but simply because of the color of our skin we are prostitutes (you) or broke and unable to afford a home (me). Our level of education, income is completely immaterial. We are black women so of course that IMMEDIATELY makes us unable/less than. I swear to God, it's no wonder that so many of us suffer from so many health problems.

I'm a freaking prude when I think about it in comparison to what I've seen on film.

Girl, ain't THAT the truth. I am right there with you on that, though I have to admit that as I'm getting older certain err, umm... "feelings" are becoming more and more common.
