(No, Proud, I have not read your reply to my post. I've got you on "Complete Ignore." Nothing personal. I just know you won't budge an inch from your position, no matter what evidence is presented to you. I'm sure you consider me to be a fool or evil incarnate.)
I found the following statement at a nifty article to which I've posted a link below, as follows:

Now I understand why they wore the "nerd" glasses. That gives me peace of mind. I was afraid they were mocking nerds, a group of kids who continue to be marginalized at sports-centric high schools. Again, with no good reason.
But in this case my suspicions were apparently uncalled for. I can admit when I've been wrong. I can live with that.
