but high profile athletes need to be aware and avoid this kind of thing. Vast majority of people I've came across in life will take advantage of others regardless of how badly it devastates their life and don't care or they'll feel bad but quickly get over it.

Not only that - even if you do beat the thing or have a situation like Kaep where the accusation didn't progress whatsoever - your name will be tarnished by many individuals who have the mindset (and in many cases there are abuse but lack of sufficient evidence to do anything about it) that because the accusation is there, it is true or otherwise why would they be saying it?

People lie and make up shit unnecessarily about other people all the time. Doesn't make much sense to me(ironically there have been many instances where people didn't believe me when describing behavior of others, usually because they show them more respect)
