2. Yes it is!...

Must be “our” eagles twin.

Since it has a white head it’s over two years old, so probably a mate is around. Watch the skies in the afternoon when the thermals start to rise that’s when you may get a glance a both flying around. That’s when we get to see our pair hunting over the field behind our place.
In northern Michigan, eagles are quite abundant…it’s getting much better, numbers that is.

My little 20lb Havanese dog instinctively rush’s out and barks madly at them when they fly over.
Done it since a puppy. Putting himself out there to protect us…must be a democrat dog.
