I’ve seen different estimates for different schools. It hit was $55-70 M for Blacksburg VA alone.

Blacksburg especially has greatly reduced the building of hotels so the prices are sky high. People go as far as Roanoke Lynchburg or Staunton. Selling parking in your yard is serious packet change in Charlottesville too.

Small schools too. Those 5 or 6 home games every year are cha-Ching time.

Okay so when the weather is nice no sports is odd but nestled in with a fire and food, no football is going to be missed a lot.
