I'm saying that no matter what one believes, it is not bigotry as long as one is tolerant of the beliefs of others. Not actions, beliefs.
The Pope's actions, as an individual, have shown him to be tolerant of all, regardless of sexual orientation or gender.
That does not mean he is going to change church doctrine overnight. Even this Pope would have difficulty doing that. Don't be expecting same sex marriage in a Catholic church any time soon, or the ordination of women as priests. It's their club and they make the rules. If they interfere with women's healthcare in the public sector, then they should be confronted. But it doesn't make the Pope a bigot or a homophobe. Hell, he's the Pope. Do you think he cares that many priests are gay? There definitely could be some hypocrisy going on, but we're all guilty of that, from time to time.
