13. There are two kinds of people in this world,

those who allow pets into their lives and those who don't. And for those that do, those creatures become members of the family. We love them and cherish them and they return that love unconditionally. And they remain with is for much too short a time. We lost our beloved dog, Sancho, a few months ago. I know what you are going through. All I can tell you is that I believe with every fiber of my being is that if there is some sort of existence after this life, then that existence exists for our pets as well as us. If God is love, then how could our pets not have souls?

The Rainbow Bridge is simply that concept made visible. My thoughts go out to you and Polly. Take comfort that she knew you and knew she was loved and she loved you in return.
