might give us the real story. I wish there were writings out there that are closer to the time of the events that supposedly happened. Wouldn't it be cool if in some ancient library somewhere, they could find maybe the census that Augustus took when Jesus was born and a record of his crucifixion. I'm sure the Romans must have kept records about those matters. We know what happened to Vicentegorix, the Gaul Chieftain, because Julius Caesar, the Roman who took him prisoner and eventually executed him, wrote it down.
