the former is when it "tapes" people whispering. others record activity, like crashing dishes, even gunfire (albeit a bit muted), at a pretty clear and voluble level. it's surprisingly freaky!

the challenge is your visual experience. i don't think there's been any recordings of visual "playback" though some claim experiencing such. but then at that point how is that different from a residual apparition? it is a challenge, there's a lot of studf to comb through.

i have heard of time slipping, and there's a few bits of citation out there about it. but it is significantly less common. you'll have an easier time collecting info on mineral playback and residual hauntings/apparitions. saves research time elminating the easier to compare stuff.
