Olfactory foresight? I don't know what to call it, but it is intriguing.

I have an olfactory ghost in my home. I live in an old, remodeled farmhouse. There are many times that I can smell a meal cooking when I should not be smelling any such thing. The food is always of the type that a farmer's wife would cook, nothing fancy or exotic, just plain and wholesome, made for a hard working farm family.

Since I do not have any neighbors nearby, or any restaurants, I know there is no source for the smells. They are at odd times, too. And they can occur during the winter when everything is shut tightly against the elements.

Keep posting about your olfactory experiences. We don't often hear about such things. I think they must be rare.
