Hogue has backed off his prophecy on Bush. On the January 13, 2016 show:

Regarding the election, Hogue no longer thinks Jeb Bush has a chance for the Republican nomination, but that Donald Trump could secure it. He believes Hillary Clinton is likely destined for the presidency, yet of all the Republican candidates, Trump alone retains a possibility to defeat her.

He says the most ridiculous, off-the-wall things about Bernie. It shows he has no understanding at all of what Bernie is about.

I don't think he has the slightest idea of what's going to happen. The fact that he's changed his mind so many times shows that he has real difficulty just sizing up the situation, let alone seeing anything in the future. As a soothsayer, John Hogue is, to use a Trump term, a "loser."
