Spirits also include God, Goddess, or any number of deities we humans have faith in.

I found this interesting because my late son-in-law was a particle physicist who did a lot of his work through Fermi Lab. My son works at Fermi Lab, and he was involved in working on a simulcast between Cern and Fermi Lab so that everyone could observe the startup of the Hadron.

My son-in-law was not a believer, but he thought a great deal about his own spirituality. I think his real problem was with organized religion. My son believes in God and considers himself a Christian.

Ghosts? Yes, I believe in ghosts.

I think this article was popular science, and rather flippant. I found it interesting in spite of that.
