Alas, I'm still confused. The Court's new term will begin on Oct. 5. The only significance I can attach to the Feb. 2 date is that it's the date for the Court's new solar return chart (but that doesn't seem very significant!).

Posts upstream seemed to be very happy about the Feb. 2 date, but perhaps I misread/misinterpreted them.
