I actually look forward to family get togethers, because I spend most of my time in isolation (SAHM, plus Mr. MG is totally anti-social). But I admit it is stressful--I always feel like I'm never going to get everything done in time. And all I'm doing is buying gifts and decorating. Parties are a foreign concept to me, although I wish that weren't the case.

I'm sorry you're going through a tough family situation. Sending light for smooth sailing through the holiday season.
