we have broken off with some very poisonous family members this past year, and that means we get to spend the holidays however we wish. Up until this year, for both of us, the holidays had been filled with angst. We are a little verklempt about it all, but still happy to be able to do whatever. I hope you and your husband are able to at least find an evening or two during this period to spend time together, just the two of you, and enjoy the season.
