the new moon as the faintest crescent last week. I was traveling westbound for a couple hours last Wednesday and was able to watch it set. I rarely get to see it that soon after the new moon, Venus was not far away and there were a few clouds to capture the color changes. Other than having the sun blinding me, it was a nice sight to watch out in the wide open landscape of eastern Montana.
