3. -94F isn't all that cold when you think about it in planetary

perspectives. I lived in a places in the lower 48 where it hit -50F a couple times while I was there, with -40F or near that for days on either side of that cold snap, got up to about -10F during the day. If it's that warm in the antarctic going into their winter, I hope it gets a bit colder and stays cold for the season.
