2. I used to work in South Dakota during the summers

and would get a little ticked off when you would hear a resident complain about having to pay federal income tax. It's a state that doesn't have any individual state income tax but has a consumption tax on everything under the sun. I used to remind them that that meant Minnesota was helping to keep them afloat because they had to depend on way too many federal bucks.
