Typical of conservatism the Conservative Wing promotes American Exceptionalism to fool themselves into actually believing it and justify pushing the rest of the world around. Power and Profits are their motivation.

The Progressive Wing recognizes that we need to do a lot of work before we can justify our being Clinton "tough" on the rest of the world.
