2016 Postmortem
In reply to the discussion: Thank you, Bernie! [View all]Mira
(22,378 posts)32. I"m thrilled the door Secretary Clinton opened (about Kissinger)
was one Bernie walked through without hesitation. I hope that those who lack historical knowledge of Kissinger's crimes will bother to study up. Beside that, he is also just a nasty human.
I think that Bernie gets stronger with each debate, though today I felt he was physically under the weather with either fatigue or a cold, both would be understandable. I cannot imagine the rigors of a campaign.
I wish there were a way to give some rest to the weary, all of them, really.
I think this is the first debate where he was taken fully seriously by his opponent, THANK YOU New Hampshire, and in the absence of Mrs. Clinton's laughs and derision it was a fully engaged encounter.

I bet there are a lot of google searches amongst U.S. youth voters tonight for Kissinger.

I noticed that too and, of course, she got the last word...as usual. The audience was stacked.

Bernie merely had a cold or a tired throat; otherwise looked great. Hillary looked ill.
