They vote against their own economic interests for that very reason, kind of a stockholm situation there. Ironically. (don't read into it).

I don't see that alignment you mentioned as much with white democrats. Some, sure, but not most.

Edited to add: This is why we need to come together. There is no other way. What other options are there?
