Jim Naureckas' piece on NPR's failure to factcheck Hillary Clinton's claim that Bernie Sanders is "lying" about her ties to fossil fuel lobbyists was picked up by CommonDreams.org:
Overbys job, as he interprets it, is just to confirm that Clinton was indeed accurate in saying she accepts money from people who work for fossil-fuel companies.... If theres an implication that dirty energy has got her on a string, Overby observes, campaign finance data suggest it wouldnt be much of a string.
But what about lobbyists working for the oil, gas and coal industryisnt that what Sanders is supposed to be lying about, to the point of making Hillary Clinton sick? To give him credit, Overby is good enough to tell us what he isnt telling us: "The industry total here doesnt include lobbyists with fossil-fuel clients...."
Wellwhy not include lobbyists with fossil-fuel clients, since that is what the Sanders campaign, like other critics, was explicitly talking about?

It's further showing this entire primary process was just a dog and pony show to the DNC elites

She knows she's lost the youth vote, so she decided to put them down. Classic sour grapes.

That's the way! Now young voters will happily vote for her! Such a smart candidate.

Spoken by an older stuck-in-the-status-quo candidate. Glad B isn't that candidate.
