There are very many beautiful and inspirational messages in the bible. For those who believe, or even those who don't - caring for those with the least among us is the greatest thing we can do as human beings. There is no other way to accomplish this than to demand fairness from those who have most - so much of it gotten at the expense of others who are just fighting to survive. I struggle with religion, but this is just basic human decency, three words those who control the lives of so many millions of others have wiped from their vocabulary.
