I would not call Sanders campaign inept but clearly not at the same level as the Clinton's.

This is the year of the insurgent and anti-establishment candidate. The Hillary team was able to fight that off even with all the negative news about the stupid email server thing and constant bashing from both the left and the right.. it is amazing she and her team are now poised to the take the nomination and the White House.

However, I agree what Bernie has done should not be ignored or dismissed. Clearly this represents the future of the party given how many young people he attracted to his message. I hope there is some way we can integrate Bernie's message into the platform to keep most of his followers still interested in being Democrats. That may be a challenge but it needs to be done.
