but I would argue that the red baiting has worked this election cycle, it worked with older people that have had decades of propaganda zapped into their heads and wouldn't (and don't) support Sanders now. To some of those people, Clinton would probably be called a leftist, which is comical. My uncle is one of those people, he is constantly talking about Obama being a communist (LOL!). I think most people can see through the nonsense and don't buy that the relatively moderate and mainstream (according to popular opinion on the issues) leads to Stalin. Besides, if you look at polls, capitalism isn't polling too well either these days, especially with the younger crowd.
