(651 posts)make up a larger share of the public, he does much, much better than she does with independents, and that group has largely been excluded from your party's voting process by design. It also seems that her corruption, center-right record, hawkish foreign policy and the chance that she can be indicted by the FBI are not problems with many in her party. If that's the case, and if Sanders is already going against the most powerful (and corrupt) Democratic family, with massive amounts of money, name recognition and establishment support, it's amazing he's gotten this far. He is trying to appeal to people that clearly don't share his values. He has because of his message and because of how horrible of a candidate she is. The fact that so many Democrats don't see the obvious says a lot about them and what their party has become. The general public supports him far more than Clinton and is more supportive of the most progressive candidate in the race than the Democratic Party. The left doesn't have a home with either of the two parties, and hasn't since HRC and her husband rose to power.
