1. Who paid them the most in favors and influence?
2. Who knows where they buried the bodies?
3. Who will maintain the status quo, and hence the Superdelegates' position at the feeding trough?

Yeah, I expect you were thinking "What's best for the country" would be on that list somewhere, but that's not how they roll.
